Make Your Own Bubble Bath

There are a variety of bubble bath soaps that are on the market today. Some are good, some are bad, some are expensive and some are reasonably priced. However, if you feel a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there then you should consider making your own bubble bath. You can also give fun bubble bath soaps to friends and family as special gifts.

The ingredients that are contained in bubble bath soaps are not that hard to find in grocery stores or health food stores. You can also look online and find all the ingredients you will need. Overall the ingredients are relatively reasonably priced.

Advantages of making your own Bubble Bath

There are many great benefits to making your own bubble bath. One of the main benefits is that you always know what is contained inside the bottle. For example, if you are allergic to anything you can be assured that it will not be in your bubble bath soap. In addition you will know that all the ingredients that are used are fresh and natural. You don't need to worry whether your product was tested on animals, whether it is environmentally conscious or if it has been sitting on the shelf for two years. You made it so you know everything about it.

How to make your own Bubble Bath

If you are going to make your own bubble bath soap then the thing that you may want to spend the most time getting right is the essential oils that you use. This is what adds the scent to your bubble bath and generally is the deciding factor whether people will use it or not. These are very powerful oils so you only need to add a few drops. The most popular essential oils are chamomile, lavender, rosewood, sandalwood, myrrh, marjoram and frankincense. These types of essential oils will help you relax and calm down. Essential oils such as peppermint, spearmint, eucalyptus and lemon oil are oils that will energize you. If you have any questions about different scents you can always log onto the website for the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy at www.naha.org to get information about all essential oils.

The next thing that you want to take care of when making your bubble bath is using something that will soften your skin. Coconut oil and almond oil are really great because it will moisturize your skin and help soften if. Coconut oil is already scented and has a nutty and floral fragrance. However, Almond oil is unscented so can easily be added with your other essential oils without changing the scent.

After you have made your bubble bath be sure to store it in a non breakable container. You are able to store your bubble baths for quite a while. Be sure to make extra so you can give it to your friends and family as a gift. You can buy really great plastic containers at your local art store that come in a variety of shapes, colors and decorations.
